Stakeholders
We are committed to engaging and collaborating with our stakeholders around the country. It provides us with an opportunity to share experiences and knowledge, and helps us to understand their evolving priorities and address the most relevant sustainability issues.
Customers
We commission regular independent customer research. This helps us understand where customers think we should focus and how well they feel we are addressing sustainability issues. Our customers tell us they want great quality, fresh, affordable food that is produced with respect for farmers and suppliers, and for us to ensure all our colleagues are treated fairly.
Colleagues
Our Every Voice Matters colleague listening programme provides insight to how our colleagues are feeling and the actions we are taking as a business. Our colleagues continue to tell us that one of the things that makes them feel proud to work at Tesco is the contribution we make to local communities.
Suppliers
We engage with our suppliers on an ongoing basis and are committed to building trusted partnerships, that help deliver value and quality to our customers, while helping our suppliers to develop and grow. We invite suppliers to provide their feedback on their interaction and experiences with Tesco via supplier surveys and we hold supplier conferences to share best practice and learnings across our supply chain.
Wider society
We engage with a broad range of stakeholders including Government and regulators, NGOs, trade bodies, community groups and the media. Engagement ranges from meetings and visits, participating in working groups, responding to information requests and surveys and multi-stakeholder projects.
